The Annual Meeting is the centerpiece of the VWEA. This is the time when new members, long-time members, committee members, Board members, and other interested professionals come together to share experience, knowledge, and fellowship. As a member of this committee, you will be part of capturing the pulse of the water environment community and organizing a conference that reflects the state-of-the-industry during three days of technical presentations and networking with other water professionals.
The goal of the committee is to develop a meaningful and stimulating program for the Association’s annual meeting in late April or early May of each year.
The Annual Meeting Committee has 3 subcommittees that are responsible for the Annual Meeting: Program, Exhibits and Local Arrangements. Each area is integral to putting on a successful annual conference for the association.
The committee membership consists of a chair appointed by the President and vice chairs for program, local arrangements, spouses program, and exhibits, as recommended to the President by the chair. There should be enough committee members assigned to each vice chair to accomplish the goals of the committee.

WaterJAM 2012: The AWWA/VWEA WaterJAM 2012 will be held September 10-13, at the Virginia Beach Convention Center in Virginia Beach, VA. Your JAM 2012 Committee is busy planning the event and will provide more JAM news as it becomes available.
