The 2010 National Scout Jamboree will be held July 26 - August 4 at Fort AP
Hill near Fredericksburg. This year's Jamboree will coincide with the 100th
anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. The Water Environment Federation
will again be hosting a hands-on exhibit where scouts will learn about
watersheds, wastewater treatment, and infrastructure. About 20 volunteers a
day will be needed to show kids how we protect water quality and why it is
so important. WEF needs volunteers to "...be on-site to help educate and talk to the troops about the importance of water quality and how they can be a part of conserving this essential natural resource". Help mark this significant milestone and perhaps influence
future water quality practitioners. No scouting experience necessary! Click here to find out more or to volunteer, contact Ken Spear (speark@verizon.net). You can also volunteer by submitting the RSVP form below. Thank you for volunteering!
